Dr. Ryder is a native of Galway but has lived and worked as a GP in Limerick for more than 20 years. He graduated from NUI Galway and did his General Practice training in the UK. He holds post graduate diplomas in women’s and children’s health, has extensive experience in management and rehabilitation of drug and alcohol misuse. Given his experience, Dr. Ryder is proficient in medico-legal issues, including reports and assessments for court. He is also the Medical Director of the Student Health Centre in the University of Limerick.
Dr. Denise McMahon is originally from Co Limerick. She completed her General Practice training in the Mid Western training scheme and joined our practice in 2019. She has experience in Paediatrics and holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health. Her interests include women’s health, family planning and she is passionate about health promotion for all ages.
Dr. Amy Purcell is originally from Limerick. She completed her General Practice training on the Mid Western ICGP Training Scheme and joined our practice in 2022. She is very experienced in Adult Medicine and also holds a Diploma in Paediatrics and a Diploma is Women’s Health, a BST in General Internal Medicine and The European Certificate in Essential Palliative Care. Dr. Purcell has a special interest in Women’s Health and Family Planning. She is passionate about health promotion and disease prevention.
Dr. Eoghan Hearne is originally from Co Waterford. He completed his General Practice training in the Mid Western training scheme and joined our practice in 2021. He has a special interest in pain management with advanced training with the Royal College of Surgeons in Joint and Soft Tissue Injections. Dr. Hearne also has particular interest in Chronic Disease Management at all ages and enjoys a logical and friendly approach to family medicine.
